Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to work on subdivision and civil infrastructure projects in and around metro Sydney.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve superintending Works under Contract, typically in accordance with AS4000. You will act as the Principal’s agent in conveying instructions to contractors and you will certify and assess value, quantity or time. You will also perform site inspections, prepare pre-tender cost estimates, undertake reporting and liaise with stakeholders. Your expert communication and negotiation skills will ensure that issues are resolved promptly.

Typical projects you would work on include residential and industrial subdivisions, site remediation, demolition, drainage works, industrial works, major earthworks, sporting facilities, major services, infrastructure and traffic facilities.

The position would suit someone with at least 10 years’ experience in a similar role. Knowledge of contract administration as well as a good understanding of service authority approvals and construction standards is essential.

You will be a qualified engineer and ideally hold a CPEng or be a registered engineer.

Superintendent’s Representative

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent’s Representative to work on subdivision and civil infrastructure projects in and around metro Sydney.

Day-to-day responsibilities involve representing the Superintendent when administering Works under Contract, typically in accordance with AS4000. You will act as the Principal’s agent in conveying instructions to contractors, perform site inspections, prepare pre-tender cost estimates, undertake reporting and liaise with stakeholders. Importantly, you will be able to manage client expectations whilst coordinating with the contractor.

Typical projects you would work on include residential and industrial subdivisions, site remediation, demolition, drainage works, industrial works, major earthworks, sporting facilities, major services, infrastructure and traffic facilities.

The position would suit someone with several years’ experience in a similar role. Knowledge of contract administration as well as a good understanding of service authority approvals and construction standards is essential.

Civil Designer/Design Engineer – Subdivisions

We are looking for a talented Civil Designer/Design Engineer to work on leading greenfield residential subdivision projects.

In this role, the successful candidate can expect to undertake a wide range of duties which include:

  • providing engineering design solutions for subdivisions and associated infrastructure works
  • working with drafters to prepare designs and documentation suitable for DA and/or CC
  • preparing estimates of quantities
  • preparing design reports, safety in design reports and other quality related documentation

The position would suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • with at least 5 years’ experience designing residential, industrial or commercial subdivisions and related infrastructure
  • strong stormwater and drainage skills, amongst general civil design skills
  • a good understanding of relevant standards, guidelines and regulations as they pertain to engineering design
  • ability to prepare quantity and cost estimates
  • experience dealing with clients
  • excellent working knowledge of 12D (essential) and AutoCAD
  • excellent communication skills

A civil engineering degree is preferred but is not essential.

Road Designer/Design Engineer

We are seeking a talented Road Designer/Design Engineer to work on roads and traffic infrastructure projects for councils, DM Roads and the RMS.

The successful candidate will be designing local and arterial roads, intersections, roundabouts and other road and traffic infrastructure. They will be well-versed in the full design lifecycle, have experience preparing estimates of quantities and preparing design reports, safety in design reports and other quality related documentation required by the client.

The position would suit someone with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • at least 5 years’ experience designing road and traffic infrastructure
  • drainage skills (preferred)
  • a good understanding of relevant standards, guidelines and regulations (Austroads, RMS, etc)
  • excellent working knowledge of MX, 12D and AutoCAD
  • excellent communication skills

A civil engineering degree is preferred but is not essential.

Project Manager – Subdivisions

We are seeking a talented Project Manager who can look at the bigger picture and translate our client’s vision. They must be able to anticipate clients’ needs, be solutions focused and importantly, be able to deal confidently with technical and non-technical clients.

The position would suit someone with around 5 years’ experience in the land development industry. They must have an understanding of the residential land development process from feasibility to market release including statutory requirements and knowledge of services and their requirement. They must also be able to demonstrate solid general project management skills.

A civil engineering degree is preferred but is not essential. A background in design would be advantageous.
